Reporting an error

Reports that include a citation can be verified immediately and are corrected fastest. Corrections are made in the repository that backs this site, so every change is recorded with a timestamp and the source document behind it.
What we cannot do
We cannot classify your product, advise on whether your goods qualify for a preference programme, tell you what a specific shipment will cost, or represent you before CBP. Those require a licensed customs broker. ImportCost is not one, and nothing sent or received here creates a professional relationship.
Response times
This is a personal project maintained alongside other work. Verified errors in tariff figures are prioritised; everything else is answered when there is time, and some messages will not get a reply.
